After hearing about this quick and easy cookie recipe, I knew I had to try it! Not only do I have quite a sweet tooth, but I am a peanut butter fan. Even before I tried this recipe out, I was sure that it would likely become a favorite of mine. Sure enough, I was right! Follow the steps below if you want to recreate this delicious treat.

To make these peanut butter cookies, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup of peanut butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ½ cup of chocolate chips (optional)

Step 1:

Preheat your oven to 325Âş and gather your ingredients.

Step 2:

Combine all of your ingredients in a mixing bowl until you achieve a cookie-dough texture.

Step 3:

Once mixed, place cookie-sized portions onto a prepared baking sheet at least two inches apart, and flatten with a fork.

Step 4:

Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 5:

Enjoy!

It’s as easy as that! This is the perfect treat for the fall and winter seasons, especially for college students, as these ingredients are likely already in reach for many. If you haven’t already tried this out, do so as soon as possible!
