Happy First-Generation Celebration Month!

Hi  :)

I want to start by saying I AM SOOO PROUD OF YOU. Being a first-generation college student is not easy, but YOU are doing it. As a first-gen I have found myself thinking, is this for me? Do I fit in? Do I belong here? Did I make the right choice? Having imposter syndrome is something that at times consumes me and my thoughts. You are rewriting your narrative. It is not easy not having the access that your peers have, but you did it, and you are doing it. I am here to affirm that each and every first-generation student is a trailblazer. You are accomplishing something that you should be incredibly proud of.

Be proud of where you come from and keep going!
