  1. You will be making history as this is HC’s very first ladies CLUB hockey team. 
  2. You will look completely badass in a hockey uniform. 
  3. You can finally be an athlete. (goodbye NARP, hello sporty) 
  4. Hockey is the best sport in the world. (not opinion, FACT) 
  5. The girls on the team are fabulous. 
  6. Team bonding. (Who else misses high school sports solely for the team dinners/slumbies??) 
  7. Free ice time. 
  8. Who doesn’t love a zamboni? 
  9. Practices are at night. (no 4 am wakeup calls) 
  10. We will all eat ice cream out of the Stanley Cup. (this is debatable but we’re working on it) 
  11. You will finally have somewhere to put all that built up aggression. 
  12. You get to make ice angels. 
  13. You will never need to squat again. 
  14. Hockey cellys are the best type of cellys. 
  15. Because it’s the Cup.

Evan Grogan is a senior at the College of the Holy Cross who is studying abroad for the year at the University of St Andrews. She is an English and Art History double major and eventually hopes to attend graduate school for journalism and write for The New York Times. When Evan is not busy with school and writing for both Holy Cross' newspaper and Her Campus, she loves to read; go for runs; and spend time with her friends.
