11 Struggles You Face When You Have An Absurd Amount of Work to Do For The Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Holy Cross chapter.

1.     You start doing work Sunday night at 10pm and you realize you’ve done absolutely nothing all day. But it’s okay because you were “mentally preparing yourself” for this moment.

2.     Monday morning comes and you’re actually wishing Friday doesn’t come because of your exam and 2 papers on Friday.

3.     Monday evening: reads over both essay prompts extensively yet fails to actually write anything that will help once the writing process starts

4.     Tuesday: I got this, still have PLENTY of time, if I get enough done today I can totally go to Leits tomorrow night… *creates an outline of a reading for the class you never read for until today*… still no real progress

5.     Wednesday: yeah I’m not going to Leits but I will stay in the library way past the time everyone gets home because tomorrow is Thursday and then it’s… Friday

6.     Wednesday (Technically Thursday at 4am): Two papers done, I just have to find someone smarter than me to edit those bad boys into works of art.

7.     Thursday: falling asleep in every class but at least I’m catching up on some sleep

8.     Thursday afternoon: extensive debate with self whether napping now will set me back or make me wake up feeling like P. Diddy.

9.     Thursday evening: the nap took place along with five snoozes later and I still can’t tell if that was the worse or best thing for me.

10.  Friday morning: I studied until my eyes could no longer stay open, going to cram as much as possible while caffeine overloading, take my exam… and I am free!

11.  …Sunday comes and repeat
