Managing Your Style

With the constant goings-on around campus, it’s hard to know how to plan out your weekly wardrobe.  Take some hints from your Hollins sisters on how to dress for every occasion.

Best friends, juniors Mercury Hipp and Georden West add their own unique flare to business dress for the networking events at the annual Career Connection Conference.  Mercury rocks the black and white look with a blazer from Goodwill, as well as pants and patent loafers from Belk.  Georden, on the other hand, makes business bright with paisley printed pants from Singapore paired with a top from Goodwill and wedges from Target.

Freshman Nathalie Harrod navigates the unexpected warm weather by combining the best of both fall and summer.  Looking cool and casual in a sweater from Ann Taylor and shorts and shoes from Charlotte Russe, she attends an on-campus concert featuring Anderson East and The Vespers.

Samantha Dozal, a freshman, plans her outfit to carry her throughout her hectic day.  From class, to the dining hall, to senate; her stylish look is appropriate in every forum.  She wears a blouse from Love Culture, pants from Gap, and shoes from TJ Maxx.  She adds an extra funky touch with an ear cuff from Charlotte Russe.

Taylor is a first-year student at Hollins University hoping to major in English/Creative Writing with a minor in Film. She is a Pisces with a love for poetry, French films, and all things pink.
