HC Hollins photographer (and member of the Hollins University Riding Club) Catherine Hensly, snapped a shot of the Open Hunter line up at the annual Fall SWVHJA horse show yesterday. It featured numerous Hollins students and horses. The Grand Champion winner was Tres Coronas, a Hollins horse ridden by Laurel Bolton ’12, with Bella Lagosi taking Reserve Champion, another Hollins horse ridden by Blair St. Ledger-Olson ’13.
Hollins students took home ribbons on Saturday as well as Sunday! On Saturday, Hollins riders competed in classes such as the Oak Ridge Medal and Special Adult Hunter. Solitude, a Hollins horse ridden by Caitlin Shipe ’13, was Reserve Champion of the Special Adult Hunters.
