An Inside Look at Our Trader Joe’s Shopping List

We love Trader Joe's, you love Trader Joe's, so here's a comprehensive list of everything you need to get from there on your next run. Or ASAP. Whichever comes first.

Produce ?

Get ? your ? produce ? at ? TJ's ? It's cheaper than bigger grocery stores and they source locally as often as they can, which means you know it's fresh. Here's our go-to list:

1. Bananas

2. Berries

3. Sweet Potatoes

4. Greens - spinach, lettuce, arugula, kale, etc. (at TJ's, most of this is pre-packaged and pre-washed, so it's ideal for your dorm room fridge)

5. Tomatoes (sourced locally on Long Island)

6. Cucumbers (sourced locally on Long Island)

Snacks ?

We know this is why you really opened this article. TJ's just has. the. best. snacks, not to mention it's a legit treasure hunt to find the best ones. Our faves:

1. Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Covered Blueberries

2. Trader Joe's Peanut Butter Protein Granola 

3. Trader Joe's Three Layer Hummus - Traditional, Cilantro Jalepeño, and Spicy

4. Trader Joe's Avocado Tzatziki Dip

5. Organic Blue Corn Tortilla Chips

6. Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Cups 

7. Mexican Style Roasted Corn with Cotija Cheese (frozen) -- technically a side dish, but trust us on this one.

Whole A$$ Meals

1. Trader Joe's Spinach Tortellini (do I even need to tell you about this??)

2. Trader Joe's Naturally Flavored Blueberry Waffles (Eggo, who??)

3. Trader Joe's Chimichurri Rice with Vegetables

4. Super Nutty Oat Clusters Cereal

5. Trader Joe's Buffalo Style Chicken Poppers

6. Cheese-Filled Fiochetti with Pink Sauce

7. Buffalo Ranch Chopped Salad -- literally everything you need in one bag... minus the bowl.
