Favorite Read: Normal Gets You Nowhere by Kelly Cutrone. This is PR maven Kelly Cutrone’s second book and it is just as informational as the first, if not more! Cutrone is the real deal in the fashion industry. She tells everything straight-up, never leaving anything in question. The book opened my eyes as to why Normal Gets You Nowhere.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “When you have the choice to be right or to be kind, choose to be kind.” – Wayne Dyer

Favorite Film: Breakfast At Tiffany’s. I decided that I’d give Netflix a try (free 30-day trial!) and Breakfast At Tiffany’s is the first movie that I decided to watch. I could not believe that I hadn’t been exposed to it beforehand! Placed in the ever-so-wonderful 1960s New York City, it’s a wonderful movie to watch and just imagine living a luxurious life as a socialite in the city, just as Holly Golightly does. Audrey Hepburn lights up the screen, inspiring me to be as bubbly and easy-going as she is.

Favorite Single: “Boyfriend” by Justin Bieber. If you didn’t have Bieber-fever before, then you definitely will after you hear Justin Bieber’s new single entitled “Boyfriend.” Justin has matured and his vocals have definitely developed, giving him a sexier tone. I heard the song and I automatically thought, “Justin, you can be my boyfriend anytime!”

Favorite Trend: Crochet/Lace Shorts. In the Spring and Summer seasons, I know that it can be hard to mix things up. The warm weather allows for minimal clothing, usually just shorts and a tank top, but crochet or lace shorts can add some charm to an outfit. Various colors (available in lime green and teal at Forever 21) allow an instant “pop” to an outfit. I personally prefer a neutral cream or white, which can be mixed and matched endlessly.
