Decorating your college dorm can be a challenge. It can be hard to find pieces that are cheap, cute and unique. Here are five college room DIYs to help change your dorm into your second home:

1.)PLAYLIST POSTERS

These posters are an eye catching addition to any dorm room! You can add as many songs you want and customize the background of the poster to your liking. All you need for this DIY is some printed out screenshots of your favorite songs, a poster and a frame. Definitely a must for any music lover!

2.)CREATE A HAT WALL

Have an open wall or closet door that looks boring? Put some command hooks up and create a hat wall! This DIY is super easy and takes no more than five minutes to create. Not only does it take care of that empty wall, but it also gives you a place to put all of your hats. Get some of your cutest or funkiest hats and put them on display!

3.)FLOWER MIRROR

This DIY is perfect for those fit check mirror photos. You are able to mold these flowers into any shape and size that fits best for your mirror. Don’t worry about making too many, you can always glue magnets to the back of the flowers and place them on your fridge! For this DIY, all you need is some air dry clay, paint and a mirror.

4.)PICTURE COLLAGE POSTER

Similar to the Playlist Poster, this DIY is an easy way to create that photo wall you’ve always wanted. Instead of taping pictures to your wall, get a large frame with a back and tape your photos to that! You can command strip the frame to your wall to help decrease the amount of damage to your wall (trust us, you don’t want to chip the paint). Now you can easily put up the photos you want and change them out if they aren’t fitting the vibe anymore!

5.)DECORATE SOME VINYLS

Painting vinyls is a great way to express your creativity while creating some room decorations. You can make up your own design or find one off of pinterest, get creative with it! If you don’t want to paint, you can cut photos out and glue them onto the vinyl. The materials you will need for this project are some vinyls, paints or pictures, possibly some glue and even glitter.

These five DIYS and many others are exactly what you need to fix that issue! They can be easily tailored to fit any criteria you have and will help you feel more at home in your new dorm room.
