The Week Before Thanksgiving Break, As Told By Animals

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at High Point chapter.

1. The Monday before break, you wake up like

Mondays should be illegal.

2. In class, you’re like

Biology, don’t you understand that you aren’t important? No one likes you, Biology.

3. When someone tries to talk to you, you’re like

You’d never guess how much I don’t care.

4. When a professor reminds you about an assignment due right before break

Wow, you’re that kind of professor, aren’t you? *flips table*

5. Come Wednesday, life is better, but you’re still like

Not sure what my life is, but I’m here.

6. Eating meals with your friends is like

Food is pointless. I want to go home. I need to be free.

7. Trying to do last-minute assignments like

I have no idea what I’m doing.

8. Thinking about that glorious Thanksgiving dinner like

Can’t wait to be fat and happy. Well, I’m already that. But you get the point.

9. When you have to pull yourself out of bed to go to class for two more days

This is my hell.

10. But then, Friday comes like

I JUST CAN’T HIDE IT.

11. After your very last class, you’re like

Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go! Come on, come on! It’s THANKSGIVING BREAK!

12. You pack your things and head out your door like

Byyyeeee.

13. And when you’re finally home, you hug your family like

I MISSED YOU. I LOVE YOU. Now let me irritate you for a full week.
