Easter is this weekend and we are all lucky enough to get a small break from school, so here are some of our tips to making the most out of your holiday.
Have a nice dinner with your whole family.
There’s nothing better than a holiday to bring family together and Easter is no exception! So gather around a table and eat all the mämmi you can.
Organize an Easter egg hunt.
Let’s be honest – we all love Easter because of the chocolate eggs. It’s basically a license to binge on chocolate without any guilt. So gather your friends and organize an egg hunt – the one with most eggs wins!
Catch up on Netflix shows.
Now is your chance to catch up on all those shows that you normally have to skip in favor of school (…sometimes we choose the shows – but mostly school).
Check out the latest movies.
For example, Into the Woods and the animation Home are both out for Easter so be sure to check out the newest and coolest flicks!
Saturday date night or a night out with friends.
The Easter bonfires will be lit at 6 p.m. at Seurasaari (Juhlakenttä) and the event is free for everyone. So, brave the cold and go enjoy the bright flames and good company.
Flea market finds.
The flea market at Jäähalli is open every day on Easter from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. so you can make some great, budget friendly finds on your holiday.
