The editors of Her Campus at Helsinki would like to welcome the students of University of Helsinki to our Christmas-themed online event on November 30th! We invite you to make yourself some lovely hot cocoa or a delicious glass of glögi and join us for a presentation about our online publication.
Her Campus Helsinki is looking to recruit enthusiastic students for the spring semester and onwards who are interested in gaining editorial experience in an international platform that is part of the Her Campus Media. Our magazine offers a fabulous opportunity to any student interested in becoming an editorial contributor without having to have prior experience. The beauty of Her Campus is that we only require a good set of English skills and a huge interest in creating content about any aspect of student life – whether it be about culture, education, relationships, lifestyle, or a writer wanting to have their essays or stories published, every and any idea is welcome where the student gets to write about their interests.
Our little online event and info session takes place at 6 pm (18.00) EET. on Tuesday November 30th and will be hosted by our current editors in chief. Diana and Kukka will present the magazine with Her Campus Helsinki’s senior editor, Leila, and give an overview of how the publication is managed. They will also talk about the experience a contributor can gain whether they contribute as a writer or as both a writer and an executive board member who also manage the publication and visibility of the magazine. Our editors will also present the Internship Credit program that the Her Campus headquarters offers to its members in different chapters (as in branches that are comprised of different universities around the world)!
In honor of the approaching Christmas season, we also have a lovely treat for our potential new recruits: if you sign up to become a contributor, you get the chance to be part of a giveaway! (More info on this afterwards!)
