Christmas is just around the corner and you still haven’t figured out what to get for all your loved ones? Not to worry, we are here to help you! Here are some great Christmas gift ideas for all budgets.

For your BFF

  • A survival kit for long winter nights. A scented candle, a bottle of good mulled wine and a jar with the ingredients and a recipe for homemade cookies won’t cost you too much but will surely be appreciated.
  • Something for pampering. Is your friend the one who always puts others first? Help her to relax and give an evening for herself with some lovely spa items. A christmas-y shower gel, super soft sponge, body lotion and a nail polish will look cute wrapped up in cellophane and will definitely go to good use.
  • A concert ticket to see her favorite band. If you can afford to splurge a little, why not get two tickets (one for her and one for you, obvs.) for her favorite band’s gig? It’ll give you a night to remember and won’t fill up her cupboards with any extra stuff.

For your parents

  • Remember how your parents used to love all the self-made gifts that you gave them as a child? Well, they still do! Give them a homemade cake, woolen socks or even, if you’re an artsy type, a self-made painting that you know would look nice on their wall.
  • If your parents are like mine and always complain how you “never have time for them anymore”, why not give them your time as a gift then? Write them a pretty “gift card” where you promise to dedicate a whole day for them during the holidays and then plan something fun for you to do together. For example, you could start a day with a brunch at your place and then head to the movies (tickets for the day shows are a lot cheaper than for the evening or weekend ones). Wrap up the day with a nice stroll around the city and a dinner that you cook together.
  • If your parents love culture and your budget is flexible, a theatre ticket would be a hit. Remember that there are also many affordable theatres around and many cities have their own theatre groups that perform quality plays with lower prices.

For your boyfriend

  • Something cozy and warm, like a sweater or a scarf is bound to go to good use during this chilly season and is a sneaky way to have an impact on his style.
  • Is he a music fan? Make him a mix-CD of your favorite songs that you’ve listened to together! Also, find a cute picture of you two and make the cover from it.
  • Show him you’ve taken notice on his interests and subscribe for him his favorite magazine or get him a book about his hobby. Or, if he’s talked about wanting to try something new for a while now, offer to do something fun with him and buy the two of you a bouldering session or a dance class that will give you a laugh together.

For your girlfriend

  • All girls love jewelry and you can get her something nice whether you can splurge or not. If you can’t afford the most luxurious ones, there are also really affordable pieces out there. Remember that it doesn’t really matter if the diamonds are real or not – what matters is the thought and that you choose something that you think would look great on your girlfriend.
  • Like spending cozy evenings with your girl at home? Get her the newest novel from her favorite author and a box of hand-made quality chocolates to spend the hail storm nights with. An added bonus: you’ll most likely get to taste the chocolates, too!
  • If you’re creative, write her a poem. You can also frame it so that she could hang it on her wall or put it on a shelf. Trust me, she will love you forever for this.
