Days are getting shorter here in Helsinki, but that doesn’t mean we should start to hibernate and leave home only when the first day of spring comes! There is plenty to do in Helsinki during the winter too, and here are a few great things to put in your calendar this coming November and December!

3.-4.11 Teurastamo Halloween

In Teurastamo (literally “the slaughterhouse”, because it’s a culture venue built in an old slaughterhouse… spooky), you can celebrate Halloween a bit late with other zombies, witches and all sorts of beings while eating, drinking and having fun. On Friday evening, there is a party with a tarot reader, a zombie catwalk, a magician, lots of art and music, and on Saturday a more kid-friendly event during daytime. Come alone or with your whole horde!
