5 Fashion Blogs to Follow Now

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Helsinki chapter.

As a devoted fashion enthusiast, I decided to even focus my future Master´s thesis on fashion. More specifically, fashion blogs. Therefore after researching them for few months now, I have decided to introduce you, my fellow fashionistas to the best of them, as well! Those of you who are following all the possible major fashion magazines, modern it-girls, and goddesses of the fashion world might have already heard of some of these blogs. Others will be welcome to join us in our little obsession!

So, let’s begin!

1. Hannah Gale

Probably my favorite fashion blog at the moment belongs to 27-year old Hannah Gale. She´s funny, down to earth and entertaining like no one else. On her blog http://hannahgale.co.uk/ you can find tips on affordable clothes and presents, follow her as she runs errands on an everyday basis, and even read stories of Hannah’s personal life and struggles. The latter make this fashion blogger exceptionally likable and relatable. She opens up about her feelings and fights with bulimia, depression, birth control issues that unfortunately so many of us women have to deal with nowadays. So, maybe even if reading about clothes is not something for you, reading about the struggles of a young woman like you will make you want to fight harder, be inspired not to give up, and for a moment not to feel alone in the life-long battle.

2. WishWishWish

The second blog can be found at http://wishwishwish.net/, and is ran by Carrie Harwood, 25. Harwood is more opinionated regarding political matters than Gale, but no less entertaining! She discusses such political events as Brexit for example, building on personal experience. Thus, women can relate not only to her fashion sense, but also to what it’s like to feel excluded and hurt by modern conservative society. In addition, the blogger travels a lot, so you might get inspiration for the outfits for your next vacation whether it’s to sunny Portugal or never-sleeping New York!

3. Freddie Harrel

Next blog I’d recommend to you would http://freddieharrel.com/. This bubbly, cheerful 28-year old woman with the biggest smile on Earth will put you in a good mood (as well as your next outfit!) for the whole day! Her style is as unique as her super successful blog, where she manages to show off various fashion styles, and look gorgeous in all of them. And her big puffy afro will make you want to have one of your own! And of course, besides new outfit ideas, you will be able to find out how she manages her business in the ever changing world of fashion.

4. Camille Over the Rainbow

However, if you believe that French women have the best style, you need to check out http://www.camilleovertherainbow.com/. The 28-year old Camille Charriére is the epitome of classy, yet sexy French style everyone talks so much about. In her blog you can find out how versatile and super stylish such thing as simple striped top can be. The minimalism and effortlessness of Camille’s style make it easy to copy, even if your budget doesn’t allow you to splurge on designer white tee, like she does.

5. 5 Inch and Up

And the best one for the last! It´s not just any fashion blog, it’s the blog http://5inchandup.com/, ran by a Finnish street-style star Sandra Hagelstam, also 28. Wonder why it’s called that? Well, the reason is that Sandra’s passion are heels! She wears them all the time. And if you like wearing heels too, in her blog you can find so many ideas on how different skirts, dresses and trousers compliment a different heel height. However, prepare to look for a cheaper versions of high-heeled shoes than those that Sandra usually wears. (Unless, of course, you can afford Chanel and Louboutins!)
