Have you used Podcasts?

They have become a big industry lately.  I’m a huge fan of them and I listen to them literally every single day on my way to school and at home.

So in this post, I would like to recommend three interesting podcasts.

1. How I Built This with Guy Raz

Some of you might already know this podcast if you are studying business or interested in the startup industry.

This podcast shares the stories behind world-famous companies (eg. Instagram, Airbnb, Patagonia etc). You get to know how they were established, what those CEOs were thinking and what kind of processes they went through to achieve success.

What is good about this podcast is that MC, Guy Raz, is a very good interviewer. He is so good at breaking down all the stories.

People tend to only see the results, but knowing the process is also very important.

I have listened to all the stories from this podcast channel, and even the stories of the companies I was not interested in at first were also very intriguing.

There is definitely something you can learn from this podcast.

2. TED Radio Hour

The next podcast that I would like to recommend is “TED Radio Hour”.

This podcast is also hosted by Guy Raz who is hosting “How I Built This”. The variety of themes is very wide, which means that you can definitely find your favorite topics.

The storiy topics vary from the source of happiness to politics. There are wide ranges of themes.

You can also learn something from this podcast channel.

3. Call Your Girlfriend  The last podcast I would like to recommend is “Call Your Girlfriend” launched in 2014.

This podcast is co-hosted by a New York Times journalist Ann Friedman and business woman Aminatou Sow, and produced by Gina Delvac. Here they talk about intricacies of pop culture and the latest turns in politics.

Their perspectives are very intriguing and witty and I get into it every time I listen to their podcast.

Episodes are uploaded every week.
