It’s that time of year again, you know the ….. I always want to find the perfect gifts for my friends & family but the more gifts I buy, the more waste and plastic I’m purchasing. This doesn’t mean I can;t give gifts, it just means it’s important to purchase sustainable and eco-friendly gifts for our friends.

All of the brands I have listed prioritize sustainability, whether they use recycled products, sustainable packaging, and good production practices. These brands are guilt free and you can feel good about your holiday purchases this year!

Bearaby Weighted Blanket

You may have heard the hype about weighted blankets, but the Bearaby weighted blanket is so soft and all natural. These blankets are made out of Fairtrade International Certified organic cotton, hand-knit. The company only uses materials that are all sustainable either made from recycled plastic, organic cotton, or TENCEL Lyocell.

Solmate Socks

The weather is cooling down and the need for comfy, warm socks are up. Solmate socks sells colorful wool socks, so thick you won’t need slippers. They are made from 100% USA made recyclable wool. The company is certified B Corp and tries to use mostly recycled materials.

Aviator Suitcase

Didn’t think your carry-on suitcase could be sustainable? Well think again! With the aviator suitcase they use recycled polycarbonate exterior, recycled zippers, a lining made from 15 upcycled plastic water bottles, vegan leather details, and a recycled aluminum handle. The company strives to be a 100% sustainable brand!

There are so many sustainable brands and companies to buy from this holiday season! Do a little research about the gifts you plan to buy & make eco-friendly choices. Don’t forget about your wrapping paper & choose some homemade or recycled gift wrapping this year.
