Meet Basketball Stud, Brandon Jawato

If you’ve ever been to a UH men’s basketball game, the name Brandon Jawato is probably familiar to you. However, not everyone gets to know this 6’4” cutie personally. Luckily, we pulled him off the court and got the scoop.

 

Hometown: Kuta, Bali

Major: FAMR

 

Nationality: Indonesian, Balinese, Dutch, and Spanish

 

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why do you like this place so much?

Jamaica because I’m interested in their culture, music, and food; I’ve always wanted to go there growing up as a kid.

 

What traits attract you to someone, both physically and emotionally?

Some traits that attract me to someone would be their smile, someone with a good sense of humor because I love to laugh, someone that puts family first, someone who’s physically fit and likes sports and the outdoors, someone who is trustworthy, competitive, happy, and loving.

 

What’s your favorite memory at UH thus far?

My favorite memory at UH was when I went 7/7 from the three point line and set the record of consecutive three pointers for UH men’s basketball.

 

What’s your favorite spot to hang out at on UH’s campus?

Campus Center.
