‘Ilikope is a small organic skincare business from Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii, founded by owner Natasha McGuckin. I was introduced to this company from my friend, Kyla, who has been supporting this small business for a while now!

‘Ilikope’s products are all 100% organic and cruelty free. They also use all natural ingredients, so consumers can read the ingredients list and feel safe putting it on their skin since they’ll be able to understand what’s in the products.

They have a wide range of products for any gender to use and for all skin types to use. They sell body oils, face and body scrubs, lip care, masks, and skin care accessories. There are two types of body oils: kona coffee and vanilla. The body oils can be used from head to toe, on any part of your body. Simply massage the body oil onto your skin and enjoy!

Their kona coffee body scrub is also one of their most popular products! The body scrub is made from 100% organic kona coffee and natural oils, sugars, and salts. ‘Ilikope offers two different types of oils with their kona coffee body scrubs. You can get the scrub made with coconut oil, but if you’re allergic to coconut oil, you can order it with avocado oil. The body scrub smells incredibly amazing, just like some fresh ground coffee. I highly recommend using the body scrub because of the benefits of exfoliating your skin! Exfoliating helps with preventing future stretch marks and providing your skin with hydration. It also helps with making your skin look and feel good and healthier.

My friend, Kyla, highly recommends getting the matcha mud mask and the ‘Ilikope perk serum. The matcha mud mask is a fan favorite with those who enjoy anything made out of matcha. The mask is made out of Hawaiian green tea, organic coconut milk, and bentonite clay. This mask will help with minimizing your pores and your imperfections. To make the mask, simply add 1 part mixture to 2 parts water, and mix thoroughly. Then apply a thin layer of the paste to your skin and leave it on for about 5-10 minutes, rinse off with warm water, and you’re done! The mask doesn’t leave your face feeling dry or sticky afterwards like other masks. If you want to feel super fancy, ‘Ilikope sells a matching Earth-tone ceramic bowl and a white Mother of Pearl spoon to mix your mask.

The ‘Ilikope perk serum is probably Kyla’s favorite thing in the world. She loves it so much, she even got me some as a Valentine’s Day gift! The perk serum comes in a little 10mL roller bottle that makes applying the serum quick and easy. But if you’d like more of the product, you can purchase the 2oz dropper top bottle or the 2oz pump top. The perk serum helps with those dark circles under your eyes, but is delicate enough to be used anywhere on your body, just like the body oils! It’ll help hydrate and smoothen the skin around your eyes and since the product has 100% organic kona coffee in it, it also helps wake your eyes up!

You can purchase their products on their website, ilikope.com. They offer free shipping anywhere in the United States. You can also check out their Instagram, @ilikope. At a time where the skincare industry is booming, I believe it’s very important to shop at home and support small local businesses that uses local and organic ingredients for their consumers!
