With warmer weather almost in sight, it’s about time to start ditching those North Face parkas and bring back more spring-appropriate ensembles. Freshman Siena Canales modeled this outfit–perfect for a teasingly warm March day–and told us (and you!) how to get her look. Â
For a pop of color, Siena charmingly matched a pink hair ribbon to the flowers dotting her dress. “I have a natural proclivity to choose blacks and whites and grays,” Siena says, “so I like to balance that proclivity out with some sort of color–and ribbons usually do the trick. I’m obsessed with ribbon; I have every single color in the rainbow, plus more!”Â
We also loved how Siena paired her dress with Converse–it’s an easy way to add some edge to a pretty frock. She advises to “keep it simple” when putting an outfit together, and we couldn’t agree more–as Siena demonstrates, simplicity is definitely stylish.
