Skincare Products That Actually Work!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Harvard chapter.

With so many skincare products that all promise to deliver results out there, it can be hard to distinguish what works and what doesn’t. Here are some skincare products that I have tried and have lived up to their word!

1. Innisfree Cica Balm

This balm strengthens and protects your skin while smoothing out imperfections and improving the texture of your skin. I have been using this balm for a little over week, and my skin looks significantly smoother! Simply rub the balm into your problem areas after cleansing and toning!

2. Acure Glowing Serum

This serum is infused with argan oil, pumpkin, and cranberry to brighten your skin! It smells great and works with all skin types. I’ve been using this serum for two weeks now, everyone has been telling me how bright my skin looks! Definitely try this out. Use one or two pumps and press into your face and neck for optimal absorption!

3. Olay Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream

This moisturizer fades dark spots, sunspots, and overall discoloration in just 8 weeks. After spending a whole summer in southern California, my face was covered in sunspots and dark spots. Since coming back to school, I have been applying this cream every night before bed, and most of my discoloration is gone!

4. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion

Mario Badescu drying lotion is the perfect remedy for unwanted breakouts. This spot treatment works for all skin types and is made with sulfur, salicylic acid, and calamine. I use it for my pesky period pimples before going to sleep, and in the morning, the redness and size of my pimples are significantly reduced.

5. Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser

Three times a week, after removing my makeup, I wash my face with this amazing cleanser. It is made with glycolic acid which dissolves dead skin cells and refines pores while re-texturizing uneven skin. Use this cleanser as a supplement every other day for amazing results!
