So your week wasn’t the greatest. You just barely survived midterms, didn’t get that job, and didn’t realize how badly you miss those kindergarten naps. Enter: Spa Day. But wait … you’re not rolling in the dough at the moment.

No worries, here are 3 tips for having a spa day on a budget!

Homemade Facial scrubs

No really. They do exist.

Coconut oil, sugar, lemons, green tea, essential oils, even coffee grounds. There are so many tutorials out there to help you out, and a lot of these ingredients can be found in your dining hall, if not your dresser. A little mixing and heating and you’re good to go.

Coupons, Coupons, Coupons

You know those wicked long receipts you get at CVS? Have you taken a second to look the coupons on them? They always have a bunch of beauty deals, so next time you stop by, see if you can find a Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal!

The Vibes

Honestly, the ambiance can make or break your spa day. This step is pretty easy and basically free. Cute candles, low light, and the right playlist do wonders for the mood, and are quick to set up, so what are you waiting for!

And now, cue the Ultimate Spa Day … on a budget.
