Get ready for an event at Harvard that is possibly even more anticipated than Spring Break: housing day.
Freshman year, most students, with the exception of those in Apley Court, Pennypacker, Hurlbut, and Greenough, live around Harvard Yard. Then, sophomore through senior year, students live in one of the 12 Houses. Freshman spring, students form “blocking” groups with up to eight people and are then randomly sorted into the House they will live in for the next three years. While it is possible for students to transfer houses after sophomore, most people develop a sense of house pride.
With that pride in mind, the some of the Houses have already produced their videos for housing day. Check out some of the Housing videos already out and stay tuned for more updates. Also, check out the Harvard Crimson Flyby’s updates on the House rankings.
