Women of Color Content Creators You Should Be Watching

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hampton U chapter.

As National Women’s History month begins, it’s important to acknowledge the hard work women have put in. Most importantly, it’s important to acknowledge the efforts of women of color since they are not always recognized. The world of film and other creative content has long been dominated by men with little acknowledgement of women’s work. Even when women’s work is praised, the women of color are left out. The following list of content creators are all women of color who inspire others and are packed with beauty, style, humor, and travel tips. These women have certainly made an impact on women and people of color who previously had few to look up to.

Her goal is to encourage people to be the best versions of themselves through fashion, beauty, and the arts. Her channel is my personal go-to when I need inspiration for outfits and jewelry. Ms. Jackson’s channel is for every girl into chic, street, or casual vibes.
