The temperature is dropping + leaves falling + the smell of pumpkin spice in the air = FALL IS HERE! As we enter the fall season, many of us are getting ready to shop for some new cozy looks. Autumn is the perfect time to curate a stylish, yet comfortable, layered look. But, you’re probably wondering where to start. Well, gear up your favorite shopping apps and your wallet because I’m going to take you through my go-to fall fashion lookbook.

Personally, I’m an avid Pinterest user and it’s where I get most of my inspiration. But I also use TikTok and the Tiktok girlies are coming through with the fall fashion inspo. Every year, I anticipate the cool weather because I can finally pull out my favorite sweaters, sweatpants, and boots. But, with homecoming drawing near, I figured I need to level up my fall wardrobe. So, here are a few of my favorite fall fashion looks this year.

1. Leather Bomber Jackets

One thing about me, I love a good oversized jacket for cool weather. Through my search for a warm oversized jacket, I stumbled upon this new spin on a middle-school style essential. The leather bomber jacket. Now, at first, I was a little against the return of bomber jackets because I thought they were sooo 2015, but the leather material gives the style a more chic flare. It’s also very versatile. You can pair the look with some jeans for a casual going-to-class look, a cute mini skirt for a party look, or dress it up with a bodycon maxi dress for a more formal vibe. With this look, you’ll definitely look like the coolest girl on campus. I instantly added this leather oversized style to my cart, which you can find at H&M ($66.99, H&M), Forever 21 ($44.99, Forever 21), or, my personal favorite, your nearest thrift store.

2. Graphic Sweaters & Sweatshirts

It’s inevitable that during this season, we’re going to reach for our favorite comfy sweatshirt or sweater, so why not spice it up and choose one with an eye-catching graphic design. A graphic sweater or sweatshirt can work as a great staple piece and can be used to add some color, patterns, or texture to your look. Whether it’s merch from your favorite TV show, singer, or your university, these items will prevent your outfit from looking bland. I’ve been craving some color for my fall wardrobe and have been drawn to warm colors such as brown, pink, and, of course, orange. I recommend Amazon ($34.99, Amazon), Shein ($23.49, Shein), or *again* your nearest thrift store to fulfill all your cozy graphic sweatshirt/sweater needs.

3. The Infamous ugg tasmans

I COULDN’T WAIT to get my hands on the burnt olive UGG Tasmans. Once Autumn starts, these shoes sell out very quickly, so I recommend buying these before the first leaf falls. These slippers are so warm and cozy thanks to the fuzzy lining inside of the shoe and they’re so versatile and fashionable. You can dress them up or down, whatever your occasion is, the UGG Tasmans will go with everything. They also come in so many colors such as the classic UGG chestnut, a dark teal which is next on my list, and a vibrant fire-hydrant red which will be perfect for the fall landscape. *WARNING*: once you get one pair, you’ll definitely be back to get more.

4. Knee-high Leather Boots

Look, leather is definitely in right now and the trend has spread from head-to-toe. Honestly, I feel like some of us aren’t ready to let go of the mini skirt and other leg-revealing looks. And this item is the perfect remedy. I feel like you can find this style anywhere, but some of my favorite include Public Desire ($67.99), Target with the Givenchy Shark Boots dupe ($49.99), and Dolls Kill ($85.00) comes in clutch everytime with the most trendsetting knee-high boots.
