Fun Fall Things to do With Your Significant Other

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hampton U chapter.

Hey Her Campus readers! It’s finally October and fall is here. This month is all about sweaters, pumpkins, Halloween and many more. I am here to give you guys fun things to do with your boyfriend or girlfriend for the fall, right here in Hampton Roads. A lot of people say “There is nothing to do in Hampton”. Well, I am about to prove y’all wrong!

  1. The first activity that could make a great date is going to the Phoebus Fall festival! The Phoebus Festival is this Saturday, October 12 from 10-6. This is an outdoor street festival with arts and crafts, food, live music, and little shops. This is great for you and your significant other to get some fresh air and enjoy the outdoors!

  2. If you and your partner are in for a scare, visit Hunt Club farm! This attraction is located in Virginia Beach and has a haunted hayride, fresh apple cider, and a petting farm.

  3. If you and your partner are into more of a carnival vibe, Virginia beach has a farmers market. Virginia Beach host a “Harvest Fair”. This has live entertainment, animals, and lots of yummy food. There is also face painting and several contests like pie-eating and pumpkin carving.

  4. Howl O scream Bush gardens: This attraction is located about 35 minutes down the highway in Williamsburg VA. This is the theme park Bush Gardens transformed into everything Halloween and everything scary. In addition to their normal rides, they also have multiple haunted houses set up and scary people in costumes running all over the place.

There you have it Her Campus readers, any of these activities sound like a good time to me and I will definitely be going to one of them.
