Have you ever thought: “Dating an Aquarius male? I’m a Virgo female so nah, bad combo” or “Scorpio males… nah, too crazy”? Is astrology really a determining factor when deciding if an individual is worthy of dating you? Today we’ll be looking at it from a male perspective and gauging what role astrology plays in his dating life. Dante Wilson is a third year architecture major from Englewood, New Jersey and a Spring ‘20 initiate of the Beta Gamma chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated. We will be getting the scoop on whether or not he considers zodiac signs when determining future wifey material.
HC: What is your zodiac sign?
Dante: My Zodiac sign is a Virgo and to be more specific I’m a September Virgo with a Virgo rising and an Aquarius moon.
HC: What are the stereotypes about your zodiac sign and would you say you possess any of those stereotypes?
Dante: The most common stereotype I hear about my zodiac sign is that we tend to be perfectionists. I can agree with that because as an artist and an architecture major, I try to do everything as precisely as possible. When making a decision or completing a task, I usually weigh out my options to ensure that it’s always “quality over quantity.” Things that are made of quality always last longer. I use this logic when it comes to my craft, fashion and relationships.
HC: Would you date anyone the same zodiac sign as you? Why or why not?
Dante: Although I have never dated someone with the same zodiac sign, I would try it. Personally, most of the virgos I know tend to be clean, organized and economical. However, there might be some complications. There have been multiple articles stating that Virgos are the number one hardest sign to love. People might think this because we usually push people away and have our guards up. I will say that there are positive aspects in dating the same sign because you may be able to connect with them more than others.
HC: Would you use a person’s zodiac sign to determine your chances with them? Why or why not?
Dante: I wouldn’t use a person’s sign to determine my chances with them, but I would use their sign to know what to expect from them. But naturally, it’s common for people to compare experiences from previous signs they have encountered.
HC: Overall, how does your zodiac sign contribute to how your perception of romance?
I would say that Virgos take an analytical approach towards romance. The reason why I feel my zodiac sign thinks this way is to gain trust. Once trust in their partner is earned, some Virgos will be more willing to let their guard down and open up more. In my opinion, I feel like it’s easier to give love than to take it.
