5 Cute Valentine’s Day Date Ideas

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hampton U chapter.

Do you have Valentine’s Day plans for your significant other? If you don’t: no worries, HerCampus HamptonU has a few suggestions for you. It’s time to get creative!

  1. At home restaurant: Set up cute decorations around your home and cook different meals that your significant other loves. Make a menu with the different dishes, buy wine, have candles set up, etc.

  2. Create an at home movie theater: put a list of you and your significant other’s favorite movies together, get some popcorn, wine, candles and BOOM! It’s a date night!

  3. Go to the Spa: You can never go wrong with a couple’s massage.

4. Take her shopping! Everyone knows a girl’s favorite thing is to buy new goodies.

5. Take a weekend trip to the poconos (or something similar to it): Since it’s winter and there isn’t that much to do outside, going to the poconos and enjoying some snow would be a great idea. Go skiing, snow tubing, horseback riding, skating, there are plenty of activities to do at the poconos!

Always remember to be thoughtful. Get your significant other a gift from the heart. It’s not always about materialistic things, but it’s the thought that counts!
