Tik Tok has taken the social media by storm. There are so many accounts, trends, and “sides”. I am here to make sure your for you page is highly melanated. So here is my top five black women, to fit all your interests.

Fitness: @alissa.ashley

“A beauty guru turned (accidental) gym rat”, Alissa Ashley began her social media presence as a beauty guru, however, has recently shifted her medium to fitness. Alissa Ashley is a great fitness guru to follow because she did not always have these fitness goals in mind. It is very interesting to see her YouTube change from beauty to photography to fitness. Ashley is a clear-cut reminder that your fitness process is just that, a process. With a little time and patience, she reminds followers that working out can become a new hobby.

Beauty: @funmiomoney

Funmi Monet, alone has jump started my fragrance collection. Prior to her page, I would go into Macys and Sephora and just start smelling everything. With the help of her page, I know exactly what scents I prefer. Monet also provides educational tips about perfume on her page. She informs her followers how each person body will react different to a perfume, therefore it always best to not solely listen to her recommendations. But I always trust her recommendations, she is my favorite fragrance auntie.

Family: @yelleadams

If you are anything like me, you take interest in other people’s lives. Look no further, Yelle Adams gives her audience 60 seconds snippets into her and her family’s life. I have been loving her frequent trips to Lululemon, spending money with the Fun Police, and disciplining “Bentley bad ass”. The small snippets into the Adams family lifestyle, allows any viewer to feel like they are an honorable member of the family. I am currently one of the thousands of aunties to Bentley, the family’s dog.

Humor: @fannita

If you are ever having a bad day, please check out her page. Fanita Leggett is a 23-year-old menace to society, and her audience loves every bit. Her content is very raw, meaning she will stitch a fine man’s Tik Tok and call him a slut for wearing a wife beater and a chain. Leggett has also manifested her entire interaction with Jack Harlow. Hours before meeting Harlow she posted how she was going to meet him, he was going to love her, and they were going to make a Tik Tok. No surprise at all, Leggett posted a Tik Tok with none other than Jack Harlow hours later.

Fashion: @layerednliberte

Now style is objective but the way she pieces together clothing is incredible. Raheena Liberte is a personal expect and has graced Tik Tok with her style expertise. She also emphasizes the importance of a person wearing their clothes instead of clothes wearing the person. Liberte also does not want her followers to conform to one style of clothing or microtrends. In addition, Liberte is also conducting 365 days of outfits, that I truly recommend to anyone looking for a way to elevate their personal style.
