Hot Girl Summer may be over, but who said you can’t have a Hot Girl Fall? This includes unapologetically wearing what you want even as the weather begins to cool down. I’m sure every Fashionista has her own personal favorite fall and winter statement pieces, but there’s almost nothing better than a stylish trench coat. Whether you’re headed to Saturday brunch with the gals or just to run errands around town, a good trench coat can take any outfit from basic, to fabulous.

This goes to show that being stylish does not always have to come with an expensive price tag. You can easily rock this winter with style, beginning with a classic trench. MAKE IT COZY
Speaking of cozy, who said trench coats can’t be? One of the best things about cool weather is that it gives me an excuse to wear sweatpants and a hoodie as often as I want. But, even sweats can be stylish when done correctly. Try pairing your favorite matching sweat suit, like the one I wore, with a pair of sneakers and a classic trench for the perfect look on a chill day. You can even add a bold lip and some killer sunglasses to give your outfit more of an edge.
LET THE COAT TALK
When you find the right trench, let it do all the talking! Sometimes, a classic trench coat (plus a few accessories) is all you need to pull a simple outfit together. I did so with a sleek neutral-colored ribbed turtleneck and oversized high-waisted mom jeans matched with my favorite trench coat overtop. If you want to take your outfit up a notch, don’t be afraid to add a statement belt and stylish gloves to make a versatile look perfect for almost any occasion.
DRESS IT UP (LITERALLY)
Who doesn’t love a good turtleneck dress? I certainly do! And, what makes them even better is that they go perfectly with almost any trench. If you’re feeling like making a statement, throw your dress on with some of your best stilettos similar to what I wore. Or, if you’re going for more of a casual look, you can even swap out the pumps for some cute sneakers. Either way, you’ll be ready to tackle your day in style with this look.
