Black History Month allows for many students to shine and showcase their talents at Hampton University. From our poetry slams to open mic nights, there is raw talent on this campus. The Art of Hip Hop Conference is a big event in the month of February that gives these talented individuals a chance to showcase themselves.
The Art of Hip Hop Conference was a night to remember last year. The dancing, spoken word, and lyricists were amazing. The energy in the room was at its peak. The audience was very engaged and the performances left a lasting impression.
The question is will this years conference live up to our standards?
“The showcase is really an example of the beauty of hip-hop culture. All of the participants have written their own original content and the creative atmosphere just facilitates genius. I am so excited for the show as a participant.
