Everyone looks forward to Rocky Horror as the one night that you can dress like a slut and no other girls can say anything about it (wait…wasn’t that Halloween on Mean Girls?). Unless you want to pull a complete Cady Heron or go totally naked, here are some suggestions for what to wear.
Corset: A corset is the key top to wear to the event if you want to channel the movie’s fashion vibe in the Annex!
Don’t have time to order one online? Don’t worry- Sangertown stores Charlotte Russe, Hot Topic, and Spencer’s have been known to have some great selections.
Fishnets:
Fishnets spice up your outfit by showing a little leg (even in the dead of winter!) Pick these up at any store that sells tights, even at Target.
Red Lipstick:
Red lipstick and other red accents can add some color to your outfit if you’re wearing all black. Try out red heels or even a red a skirt if you want more red!
Any guys out there wondering what to wear? Don’t be afraid to pull out a dress or skirt- gender is social construct (especially tonight)!
