Who or what inspires your style?
If I could live in any era it would be the 1950’s; I love wide skirts with the cinched waists. I also love Sandy from Grease (I can feel my friends rolling their eyes because I always talk about Grease), which I guess is related. I must say there is simply no outfit I could love more than Sandy’s final leather suit. But randomly, at the same time, I have this appreciation for the 90’s. I love Rayanne from My So Called Life – her hair and her funkiness.
Where do you like to shop?
Almost exclusively at Forever 21, one stop shopping.
My style is…. The same since I was seven when I was wearing a leopard jumper and curling my hair for chorus concerts. I am the most girly human. I love the process of getting ready and feeling put together.
What is your favorite item in your closet?
My two favorite items are my faux fur hooded leopard coat and my fuchsia knee length coat.
What are your favorite fashion trends?
Overalls, shift dresses, cupcake skirts, structured jackets, and big curly hair.
What are your least favorite fashion trends?
Merrells, Crocs, any kind of rubber or plastic footwear, running sneakers with jeans, kitten heels, and white jeans in the winter. I don’t think these count as trends but whatever they are, they shouldn’t be.
