What’s your favorite extra curricular and why?
I don’t know if you want this kind of answer, but I love Special K and lacrosse equally because both activities bring out such different sides of me. The non-stop action of lacrosse brings out my competitive nature, while Special K brings out my creative and musical side. Both Special K and lacrosse not only serve as stress-relievers in my hectic Hamilton life, but also provide me with an incredible and loving support system.
Do you have any tips for how you balance it all?
I try to approach all of my activities with a sense of humor and an even-keel disposition. When times are stressful or limited, I try to take a step back, evaluate the situation in terms of the larger context, and understand and react with a clear mind and positive outlook.
If you could choose your dream job right now, what would it be and why?
Hmm…that’s a tough one. If I could do anything in the world, I think I would be happiest as a cast member on Saturday Night Live. I greatly enjoy making people laugh through impersonations, expressive facial gestures, and playing off the particular situation in which I find myself. I love lightening the mood to put people at ease as well as showing the more ridiculous side of life.
What’s something you’d want the Hamilton community to know about you, that they might not already?
I played ice hockey competitively for nine years before Hamilton. I also really love getting to know people super well, so I’m sorry if I ask a lot of questions!
Pancakes or waffles?
I’m going to have to go with banana chocolate chip pancakes!!
Favorite thing to order at opus or euphoria?
Macchiato with a little bit of extra milk. Strong, but not overwhelmingly so.
