In the past, I always found myself at a loss when asked, “What do you want for Christmas?” and, inevitably, I end up getting some sort of gift card or cash in a card. However, this year is different. This year I intend to do my research not only for my own merit, but also for all of you. Hopefully, this helps a few of you get some ideas of what to tell your family and friends when they ask you that inevitable question this holiday season. And hopefully, you won’t just get an Amazon gift card.Â
Rhode beauty lip peptide
This popular lip tint is not only trendy, but truly effective. It easily moisturizes the lips while also giving a subtle, yet noticeable shade to the lips. At first, I was a little skeptical because of the high price, but as someone who uses a lip balm everyday this is an amazing option to optimize moisturizing and coloring the lips.

A red cardigan
Having a bold statement piece like a bright red cardigan or sweater keeps you warm during the winter months while also sprucing up your outfit. This year, the bright red color is very in style, specifically on various styles of sweaters. The price range for this gift can vary from a designer piece to a regular sweater, giving the gift giver a little bit of leeway in their budget.Â
Zigzag headband
For a less expensive item, zigzag headbands are a must-have for bad hair days or when your outfits need another accessory. This 90s-era hair trend has had a modern comeback in recent years, creating a stylish, slicked-back look. The zigzag headband reminds me of the clean-girl aesthetic and helps you get through an oily hair day.Â
Platform uggs (or dupes)
On the less budget friendly side, UGG is yet again making a comeback, specifically platform UGGs. Perfect for the winter, these shoes can be worn indoor or outdoor to keep you warm and cozy in the cold air. Although they are a a bit pricey, there are plenty of dupes on Amazon or TJ Maxx that offer a much lower price that feel and look the same.Â
Gold or silver watch
Whether you’re a gold or silver girlie, watches are classy and popular for a wintertime accessory. This adds to your bracelet stack with a functional and traditional touch. Depending on how much you plan to spend, there are plenty of options to get a watch online,at a boutique, or even from different designers. It is such a staple in the accessory department and is completely worth the investment.
With Christmas right around the corner, I hope that this list brought you some ideas for what to ask for during the holiday season. Even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, this list can be helpful for holiday purchases on Black Friday. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas.
