Eight Grey’s Anatomy Episodes you should Re-watch

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Gustavus chapter.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve seen every Grey’s episode now, probably more than once. It can be too much for a busy college student to rewatch the entire series, but here are some highlight episodes to turn on if you’re taking a study break.

1. “Some Kind of Miracle” (Season 3, Episode 17)

The episode where Meredith drowns. It’s an early-seasons classic.

2. “Elevator Love Letter” (Season 5, Episode 19)

McDreamy proposes, so heartwarming.

3. “Mama Tried” (Season 12, Episode 22)

Callie and Arizona face off in court for custody of their daughter. Very dramatic.

4. “How to Save a Life” (Season 11, Episode 21)

Recapping Derek’s death. Bring on the tissues.

5. “As We Know It” (Season 2, Episode 17)

Meredith’s hand is on a bomb inside a body cavity. No matter how many times you’ve seen it, you’ll still be on the edge of your seat.

6. “Death and All His Friends” (Season 6, Episode 24)

The hospital shooting episode is always a hard rewatch.

7. “Flight” (Season 8, Episode 24)

The plane crash is a must-rewatch for every Grey’s Anatomy fan. It defines so much of what happens in the later seasons.

8. “The Sound of Silence” (Season 12, Episode 9)

Meredith is attacked by a patient. This episode always makes me cry the hardest.

But I mean, really, you can’t go wrong with any episode of Grey’s.
