By now we are used to celebrating holidays at home. We are creating new traditions and finding ways to have fun safely. This Valentine’s Day we can still spread the love from the comfort of our houses! Below I have created ways you can celebrate this year.

1. Have a virtual wine night with your gal pals.

Grab your favourite wine and call up your friends! Facetime is a great way to interact with people while also staying safe.

2. Fill your sweet tooth with a dessert delivery!

Here are a few places that deliver locally and near Guelph, Ontario:

● Lady Glaze – They have the most delicious donuts! Their Valentine’s Day mix includes Bleeding Heart, Lemon-Blueberry, Meringue Kisses, Belmont Dream, Red Velvet, and Chocolate Covered Strawberry!

● Edible Arrangements – They offer chocolate-covered strawberries, fruit bouquets, a cheesecake box, and more!

● Bliss Dough – Edible cookie dough.

3. Netflix it up!

Turn on your favourite romantic comedy or tearjerker and press play! You can watch with friends using the Netflix Party feature or just spend time with yourself. Sometimes all you need is to see Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams kiss in the rain, or watch John Cusack holding a giant boombox over his head for love.

4. Bake!

See what ingredients you have in your pantry and make something sweet! Whether it’s class chocolate chip cookies or brownies take the time to eat a sweet treat. If you have any leftover Valentine’s Day chocolate,  throw it in the batter!

5. Treat Yo Self!

Who says you need a partner to get something on Valentine’s day. Treat yourself and order something special! You deserve it. Self-love is the best love!
