The popular clothing company Express is the latest to jump on the sustainable fashion banwagon.
They’ve partnered with Repreve to create jeans and other denim items made from recycled plastic. Repreve is a brand of recycled fiber that is made from recycled materials, including used plastic bottles. The brand has already partnered with other big names such as Roxy, Quicksilver, and Patagonia. The goal of Repreve is to provide a reprieve for the planet by offsetting the need to use new resources, such as petroleum, and emit fewer greenhouse gases.
Express has launched several pairs of jeans as well as shorts, denim skirts, and denim jackets with the brand. Not only are they still fitting with Express’ signature style, but they’re incredibly affordable!
