Her Campus: What is the meaning behind your name, “Tigi”?

Tigi Bah: Patience

Her Campus: Of all the schools in Georgia, what was the driving force behind you coming to Georgia State?

Tigi Bah: With Georgia State being in the heart of Atlanta, I knew there was no better place for me to be a Hospitality major.

Her Campus: Are you the only child?

Tigi Bah: No, I am the last to 8 children

Her Campus: If any, what clubs or organizations are you involved with here at Georgia State?

Tigi Bah: Spotlight Programs Board and Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Inc.

Her Campus: For those who aren’t involved on campus, what advice would you get?

Tigi Bah: Get involved. Its better to start early and make your networks and connections on campus so you can use those connections to help you find a real job your senior year of college.

Her Campus: Do you have a best friend?

Tigi Bah: Yes, my best friend of 9 years, Maggie Weefur

Her Campus: What foundation is your friendship built on?

Tigi Bah: Us both connecting and not wanting to be confined or controlled by others.

Her Campus: What kind of food do you enjoy?

Tigi Bah: I love shrimp and curry chicken. Actually I love anything that does not have pork in it.

Her Campus: What do you like to do on your down time?

Tigi Bah: Be with my friends. I hate being by myself or not having anything to do for a long period of time. I am too much of a busy body to enjoy too much down time.

Her Campus: Are you traveling for Spring Break 2016?

Tigi Bah:  I am actually not even sure. I know it is in 2 weeks, but we’re going to make it happen lol.

Her Campus: What’s the most embarrassing moment you’ve had?

Tigi Bah: I cannot remember most recent. I had a couple in Elementary school but y’all can just ask me that personally if you see me on campus lol.

Her Campus: If you could invite 4 famous people to dinner, who would you choose and why?

Tigi Bah: Tyra Banks– Tyra Banks taught me a lot of things about being a woman from watching The Tyra Show growing up.

Rihanna– I love how empowering and unapologetic she is.

Michelle Obama– No other first lady has came in and accomplished as much as she has. I love how she is constantly encouraging young children to stay healthy and take care of themselves because a lot of times we forget about young children.

Marc Lamont Hill- I really really enjoyed his speech at Georgia State and I feel like I can learn so much from him.

Her Campus: Why is it so important that you stay true to yourself?

Tigi Bah: It is so important to stay true to yourself because I swear it is so easy to get caught up in everything else. If you have a true sense of who you are, that plays a major role in all the decisions you make in life.

Her Campus: What are plans once you graduate?

Tigi Bah: I plan on working for the event management department of The Venetian Resort, Disney World, or Delta Airlines.

Her Campus: If you could ask your future self a question what would it be?

Tigi Bah: What city are we traveling to this month?

Her Campus: If you could describe life in 6 words, what would they be?

Tigi Bah: Go for it & learn to grow.

Her Campus: What has been your most memorable moment at Georgia State?

Tigi Bah: Homecoming Week 2015 and becoming a Brother of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Inc. Best 2 experiences of my collegiate career.
