This Georgia State Alumni was always known on campus for his go-getter attitude, keen sense of style, and enthusiastic charisma. It’s always a pleasure holding a conversation with Trévon because he gives such great advice and genuinely cares about what you’re talking about.
Name: Trévon Williams
Degree: Class of 2013, Major: PR Marketing, Minor: Hospitality (Event Management)
Hometown: Houston, Texas

He was always involved on campus. If he wasn’t busy with his duties as a brother of Alpha Kappa Psi, he was investing in his major and upheld his position as the PR Director of Spotlight, and PR chair for Campus Pals. Like most college graduates, he soon realized his goals and aspirations of being in PR in the entertainment business veered a little to the left, and focused more on event management and visual production.
He now works as a global Marketing/PR Coordinator for a global hair brand company called “Indique”, but when he is not doing his 9-5, he does his freelance work through “Von Allen” as the brand management director for creatives, musicians, and fashion brands. Recently, Trévon has been busy planning for up and coming artist, Raury, and his summer event “Raurfest”; an event you should definitely be on the look out for because “you’re in for a treat”, Trévon says eagerly.
Trévon gave Her Campus great advice for students to remember. “Don’t make excuses, make deposits.” A quote he feels every college student should live by, being that most students don’t know how to manage their money. He highly recommends that college students start to increase their wealth and become financially stable now, rather than later because once you are no longer a college student, the world gives no mercy. “Save refunds and take advantage of your resources now!”
