To my very best friend,

It’s only right that the person writing this article is someone who knows you inside and out. There was no way that I was going to let your article be a basic graduation profile either. The real question is, where do I start? I guess I’ll go from day one.

It was Spring Semester 2015 when we first met, in the Her Campus GSU interest meeting. We didn’t say much to each other, but I knew from your confident personality that you would be someone who I could hit it off with immediately. The funny thing is that we barely said a word to each other until the next school year, once we were both on the executive board for the chapter. That’s where this craziness all begins. You opened up the doors of your condo, and your life, to me and I haven’t left yet.

The last few semesters have genuinely been a ROLLERCOASTER, but we have held on as our friendship continues to grow stronger. From the late night “study” sessions to the even later night HC planning meetings, there was never a dull moment when we were together. We have conqueror four semester’s worth of parties, three homecomings, two spring breaks, and now a graduation. All this while running one of the best students organizations on campus.

Krystal, you never cease to amaze me. You are one of the strongest people I know, with one of the biggest hearts. No matter what gets thrown at you, you continue to rise, and you never let anything dull your shine. You have an energy that radiates from your spirit and latches onto every person you meet. You can turn tears into laughter with just one conversation, and push people to be the best that they can be. As you enter this new chapter in your life, I know you are going to do phenomenal things, because you are a phenomenal woman. Whatever you put your mind to, you will succeed, because your passion and ambition will carry you through the doors are that opening right before you. I am so grateful to not only have you in my life but to have you as a best friend. I couldn’t imagine my years in college without you, and I honestly don’t know how I’m going to survive this final semester without you by my side, but as you walked across that stage, I couldn’t be more proud of you.

So here’s to my turn up partner, my diary, my tea spiller, my best friend. Congratulations, Krys. Continue to shine and take over the world. I’ll meet up with you in May.
