Reactions to the Roses Week 6

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Gonzaga chapter.

Hello readers and welcome back to another drama filled episode recap of the Bachelor!  Sorry this one is late.  The flu is going around on campus so I’m sure you can imagine how it hit us over here at HC.  BUT back to Nick!

We started off the episode with Taylor pulling a Chad and coming back to talk to Nick after he kicked her off the two-on-one date.

She truly felt she was doing the right thing as Nick must have been lied to by Corinne.  Anyway, Nick still sent her packing so BYE TAY.

Nick then took the ladies to St. Thomas where they got to be in the sun and on the beach in the middle of November.  Those lucky gals!  (I wish we could get some sun around here…this snow is driving me crazy!)  Jasmine starts to freak out because she really wants a one-on-one date and she feels like she’s invisible and forgotten.  She doesn’t get the date; instead Nick chooses Kristina to explore with at the beach.

**Cue the paradise music***

Kristina really opens up on their date, shares about her past life in Russia, and what it was like to leave her family behind to move to America for the chance of a better life.  It was actually pretty sad, and you could tell Nick was having a hard time understanding her.  BUT she got the rose and another week!

On the group date, Jasmine and all of the other five girls are forced to play volleyball and drink all day.  This was by far the worst group date I’ve ever watched.  Nick only talked to Corinne the whole time.  The girls were not happy.  Halfway through the volleyball game, Jasmine pushes Corinne to the sand, Corinne leaves to take a nap, and all of the girls leave the game to sit in different corners and cry.  Nick is seen sadly watching the waves come in and out on the sand.  Pathetic.

After realizing what a mistake it was to ignore these women all day long, Nick decides to take them to a cocktail party.  He gets one-on-one time with each, but it seems it’s been too long since he talked to Jasmine and she goes beserk.  Jasmine is annoyed that Nick doesn’t like her and their relationship isn’t progressing, so she becomes quite insecure.

After some liquid courage, she tells Nick she can see how much more their relationship could be.  So much so, that she wants to “choke him.”  Yep.  Choke him.

When she realizes Nick doesn’t think it’s funny, she tries to laugh it off.  But things get super awkward and Nick finally decides to send her home.  T-God Nick.

(There were so many.  I had to post more)

Next, Nick decides to take Danielle L. and Whitney (who’s Whitney?) on another two-on-one.  Clearly Nick isn’t feeling the vibe with either one?  While I can’t remember what their date was, (obviously nothing good) Nick decides he’d rather spend more time with D-Lo (Danielle) than Whitney.  So bye Whitney.  At dinner, before giving D-Lo a rose, she admits she is falling in love with Nick and could see them lasting forever.

Nick is alarmed as he didn’t think they were that close to being in love (or at least he’s not) and so he SENDS HER HOME TOO.  In one episode, Nick manages to send home 4 ladies (if you count Taylor.)  Nick, I might actually start to like you!

However, because Nick is not feeling it with so many of these women, he starts to have a freak out moment.  He goes to the women’s hotel room, cries, and states he doesn’t know if he can do this anymore.

And that is all we get from this episode.  Oh, and this shot of Nick crying on a balcony.

Hopefully next week Nick will give it another shot.  I’m still Team Raven and Team Vanessa!  Until next time Bachelor Nation.
