This past week during Spring Break, I was able to adventure throughout the beautiful state of California. From San Jose to Los Angeles, I tried so many amazing restaurants (mostly some AMAZING Mexican food)! However, the best food I had during the entire trip was from a hole-in-the-wall restaurant called “Roscoe’s” in Pasadena. This terrific chicken and waffle restaurant has me wishing I never left the West Coast.
First things first, their menu is FULL of amazing foods to choose from. Obviously their crisp and juicy chicken paired with their fluffy waffles is an amazing choice, their sides of mac and cheese or grits are to die for too! If you ever get the chance to go to Roscoe’s ONLY for their chicken and waffles, you can look to the menus for many ways to mix and match with how much food you want to eat. I’ve got to say, the chicken and waffles are absolutely mouth watering. I can’t stop thinking about them!
Many celebrities are even fans of their fantastic food, such as former President Barrack Obama, Larry King, and Snoop Dog!
With locations in Hollywood, Long Beach, Anaheim (right next to Disneyland!), and even near the Los Angeles airport, I hope you get a chance to try this amazing restaurant the next time you find yourself in Southern California.
