Get to Know Morgan Smith, a Leader on GU’s Campus!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Gonzaga chapter.

Have you met Morgan Smith on campus yet?  If not, you’ve probably seen her around as she is involved with so much on campus, and loves the people of Gonzaga!  Besides being sweet, a leader on campus, and a boycotter of television, you can also see her grabbing coffee with someone she’s known since day one of college or a brand new student!  Morgan is a welcoming spirit on our campus, and you should definitely hit her up if you want to know more about getting involved in CCASSL or UMin!

Name: Morgan Smith

Year at GU: Sophomore

Hometown: Bothell, WA

Major: Communication Studies and Public Relations. Minor: Solidarity and Social Justice

Favorite Quote: “Love takes off the masks we think we cannot live without, yet know we cannot live within.”

Favorite TV show: This is Us

Dream job: Traveling the world as a blogger for National Geographic working to try and tell the connected human story. Or working for a company that provides grants and funding for small non-profit organizations.

Favorite Instagram filter: Lark

Perfect pizza: arugula, ricotta cheese, red onion, and shaved parmesan on garlic olive oil and gluten free crust! Yum!

Favorite thing about Gonzaga: The people. There are some pretty amazing people on this campus and I have loved getting to know them and hear their story. It’s hard to go a day here without getting stopped on your way to wherever for a hug and a brief moment of encouragement!

She’s involved with CLC ministries, Mission Possible, Reality Camps, and all things CCASL.  If you have any questions about these organizations on campus, feel free to reach out to her!
