This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Gonzaga chapter.

Hey fellow Zags! With school, sports, and club commitments kicking off, you will surely need to work some R&R time into your schedule; and what better way than to binge watch some feel-good Netflix shows?

After rigorous debate among friends, here are the top five binge-worthy Netflix shows to start off your school year right:

1. The Great British Baking Show

12 highly qualified bakers, all under one tent, who actually take the time to help each other out during the competition? Welcome to the Great British Baking Show, the sweetest competition around.

2. Jane the Virgin

When Jane, a devout Christian and virgin, discovers she is pregnant due to a medical accident her world turns upside down. Follow this heart-warming, telenovela-esque series ASAP!

3. New Girl

After an unfortunate break up, the sometimes annoying and awkwardly energetic Jess moves into an apartment with three single men. Together they must learn to coexist peacefully, as one hilariously dysfunctional family.

4. Friends

“So no one told you life was gonna be this way Your job’s a joke, you’re broke Your love life’s D.O.A It’s like you’re always stuck in second gear When it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month Or even your year, but I’ll be there for you (When the rain starts to pour) I’ll be there for you (Like I’ve been there before) I’ll be there for you (‘Cause you’re there for me too)” – The Rembrandts

Enough said.

5. Fuller House

If you’re a true 90’s/early 2000’s baby, it is likely that you were raised on the OG “Full House.” Be sure to watch this fun, family friendly spin off staring Candace Cameron BureJodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber

So, cuddle in, or grab a few friends and get ready for a night of Netflix!
