As we all know, Valentine’s Day has come back around and it’s just around the corner. Whether you have a significant other that you are planning to spend the day with, or a group of friends, it is always a little difficult to decide what gifts to buy people.

Not everyone is capable of buying expensive jewelry or other gifts for their loved ones, so DIY gifts are always a fun way to show that you care. However, if you are like me and you are practically incapable of making anything by hand, there are other ways that you can get affordable gifts.

  1. If you are among the art challenged, you can always find cute things on Etsy for your friends and pretend that you made them.

2. Another option is Shutterfly. They have so many great options for gifts if you want to personalize something with a picture of you and your friends. These gifts are creative and they give you an opportunity to put your own style in each of them!

3. Paint a little ceramic pot and give each of your friends a cute little succulent to show them some love this Valentine’s Day!

4. How many of you made tissue paper flowers in elementary school? Well now that skill can come in handy and you can make all of your loved ones a bouquet of colorful tissue paper flowers.

5. Make each of them their own coupon books full of things that you think they would love to have more of in their daily lives!

6. By getting colorful scrap book paper, you can fold a cute little box out of it and put little chocolates inside to brighten everyone’s day. It is a simple and easy way to share with your loved ones.

7. Or, you can keep it simple, and write them a heartfelt note and leave it for them to find.

Everyone appreciates even just the smallest gestures to show that you care. Whether it is your significant other or just a friend that you appreciate everything they do for you. Even if you don’t give out gifts, just remind everyone how much they mean to you and they’ll appreciate every kind word you have to say about them!

Happy Valentine’s Day!
