4 Tips to Have a More Productive Semester

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Gonzaga chapter.

As the weather gets colder, it gets harder to stay motivated. Here’s a few tips and tricks to keep up routines, feel motivated and organized!

1. Wake up ten minutes earlier than you normally would.

I know this tip may seem like a drag but it is a small change that can create a much more productive morning. If its going through your flashcards for an upcoming test or using the time to organize your closet, you’ll leave your home feeling much more productive and positive about starting the day.

2. Organize your planner by color.

Keeping track of your academic, social an extracurricular events can be difficult. I find that color coordination can help organize the clutter.

3. Don’t start a project and not finish it.

Sometimes stopping halfway through and coming back to a project later may seem more appealing, but doing a project all at once is much more productive.

4.  Set Reminders

Either on your phone or in your planner write stuff down! As many times as I claim that I will remember to do something, chances are I’m going to forget.
