What Your Favourite 2000’s-2010’s Show Says About You

Grace Kerr Student Contributor, University of Glasgow
This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Glasgow U chapter and does not reflect the views of Her Campus.

1. Gossip Girl

Okay diva- I see you. Do you actually like dirty martinis or did you just think it would make you look like an Upper-East-Side it girl? You live off of drama (as long as it doesn’t involve you) and are always checking social media to see where the next night out or society ball is being held – maybe to crash it or to sabotage it, but either way- you do you girl.

2. Pretty Little Liars

First of all, are you okay? You have definitely had some sort of toxic friend group at some point in your life and should maybe seek some sort of support (or get some better friends). There are always completely unexplainable things going on in your life but you still manage to make it to your 9am classes. Your life has never been chill and the plot is constantly thickening and getting crazier. Take a deep breath babe, you’ve got this.

3. The Vampire Diaries

Is the weight of being a certified edgy girl stressing you out? Because don’t let it- this natural coolness is an innate gift that not many of us have. Maybe people stop you in the street and ask you what perfume you are wearing (spoiler alert: you’re not wearing any). You probably went as a vampire for Halloween and got mad because instead of looking like Elena it turned out more like Nosferatu.

4. Desperate Housewives

How does it feel to be the funniest person in the room? You might not realise it but this show has given you top-tier humour. You surround yourself with people that you may-or-may-not secretly hate – but when you need it the most, these people are your ride-or-dies who will support you through anything. Even when you are tangled up in your own web of lies – they’ve got your back.
