Half Pint

Flavor: Salty Caramel with Blue Sprinkle Dust

Presentation: 10/10

Taste: 6/10

The consistency of the ice cream was more of a gelato. It’s very rich and it was hard to eat a lot of.

Location: 2/10

Inconvenient for college students without a car

Price: Around $3.50

Recommended for: Instagrammers

Mr. G’s

Flavor: Cookie Jar with Hot Fudge

Presentation: 5/10

The scoop fell apart very quickly and it looked like a pile of goop.

Taste: 6/10

There was an unexpected hint of banana. The hot fudge was the highlight of this flavor. The consistency of the ice cream was very fluffy though and we could definitely eat a lot of it (There’s also a soft serve option at Mr. G’s).

Location: 9/10

A little bit of a walk from campus, but worth it.

Price: Around $3.50. You get a lot of ice cream for your buck here.

Recommended for: Tourists

Kilwin’s

Flavor: Gettysburg Mud

Presentation: 5.5/10

The cup was cute but the scoop fell apart a little.

Taste: 8/10

Overall, a good choice for anyone. There were hints of brownie and caramel that weren’t too overwhelming.

Location: 8/10

Good location if you’re going to the battlefield. There was no seating though.

Price: Around $4.50. The most expensive.

Recommended for: Chocolate enthusiasts.

Sunset Ice Cream Parlor

Flavor: Cannonball Crunch

Presentation: 9/10

This scoop was amazing!

Taste: 9/10

The taste was good if you like chocolate and espresso. It is also very rich. (There’s also a soft serve option).

Location: 8/10

Good location if you’re going to the battlefield.

Price: Around $3.50. However, we didn’t get toppings with this so it is a little pricey.

Recommended for: Families with kids.

Overall Winner

Mr. G’s.

You get the most ice cream for your money. There are fun games for you to play when you’re waiting for your friends to finish eating. The consistency is the lightest. It’s Gettysburg!!
