Proactiv: A Review

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Gettysburg chapter.

I think that I am like most people when I say that over the years I have tried several different skin care products/systems over the years.  None of them have ever really stuck, so when it came as part of our Finals Survival Kit and I was offered the chance to try out Proactiv I figured, what did I have to lose?

The Proactiv kit comes with three main parts:

The first step is a cleanser.  I thought that it would be creamy, but it actually has more of a rough texture that exfoliates as you rub it into your skin.  Once that is washed off, you follow it with the toner.  This is a liquid that you allow to dry on your skin. The system is completed by putting a repairing treatment over your skin and allowing that to dry as well.  This is very similar to a moisturizer.

The hardest part of using Proactiv was putting it into my schedule, especially because it is supposed to be used twice a day.  Since it was something new and wasn’t just one step, it took a couple of misses before I had in my daily schedule in a way that worked well.

After just a few uses, I noticed that my skin was becoming softer.  It also helped my skin become clearer, and overall improves the appearance of your skin. If you are able to make the commitment of using it twice a day, Proactiv is a well-working system to help keep your skin clear and breakout free.

Thank you from Her Campus at Gettysburg to Proactiv for this wonderful opportunity!
